NLRB ELECTION POSTPONED INDEFINITELY! As of October 24, 2007 the election originally scheduled for November 7th and 8th will be postponed until all Unfair Labor Practice Charges against Bombardier are resolved by the National Labor Relations Board.
- NLRB Election scheduled for November 7 and 8 2007.
District Lodge 98, IAM-AW has filed a petition with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) in Pittsburgh to represent the employees of Bombardier in West Virginia. The NLRB is conducting hearings to determine the appropriate bargaining unit. The NLRB conducted two (2) days of hearings last week. They are scheduled to reconvene Tuesday September 25, 2007 at 1:30 pm and continuing daily as needed. The hearings are being held at the Clarksburg Municipal Building (222 W. Main Street, Clarksburg) in the Council Chambers on the 2nd floor. The hearings are open to anyone.
We encourage employees of Bombardier to attend the hearings on their off work days, to hear what is being said.
NLRB HEARINGS ARE BEING HELD AT:
CLARKSBURG MUNICIPAL BUILDING 222 W. MAIN STREET, CLARKSBURG, WV IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS ON THE 2ND FLOOR.
